We specialise in
antique maps of Scotland
and other areas, and also stock antique prints, engravings and
etchings. We aim to always have a comprehensive selection of work by
Jackson Simpson. Sculptures include Neil Dalrymple's hand sculpted
salmon. Antiques and decorative items add to the attractions of the
gallery.
We publish limited
edition prints by Janice Mcllwain, Craig Reid and James McIntosh
Patrick and always stock a comprehensive collection of prints and
engravings by Joseph Farquharson who lived nearby as the Laird of
Finzean. We are an authorised gallery for Gary Hodges limited editions
We always carry a
range of etchings and prints of Kings College
and Marischal College of the University of Aberdeen -including Kings
College Chapel - see our Jackson Simpson, antique prints and limited
edition prints sections.
NEW
A superb set
of four miniature engravings dated 1820 by Henry Alken with original
hand colouring can be seen in the antique prints section alongside
excellent etchings by James McBey, W L Wyllie, Arthur Briscoe, Tom
Maxwell. F H Haagensen, Geoffrey Garnier and Eileen Soper etchings.
We have a fine
etching of Kings College Chapel as part of our selection relating to
Aberdeen University.
Help wanted
We are building
up a database of all Jackson Simpson etchings. We believe there were
around 140. If you have one not on our site we would be grateful for
